JaMarcus Russell was arrested at his home in Mobile, Alabama, as part of an undercover narcotics investigation. Russell was charged with possession of Codeine syrup - a painkiller covered by the Controlled Substances Act - without a prescription. He has been bailed and will reportedly have a bond hearing on Wednesday and then face a court hearing on July 20th.
